League FAQ

What league formats does Pulvi support?
Two formats: pool play (round robin) where every team plays each team in its pool once and standings decide the winner, and single-elimination knockout brackets from 2 to 64 teams.
How do teams join a league?
Teams are managed rosters on Pulvi. A team requests to join a league, and the league's organizers review and approve or decline each application before the season starts.
How are league schedules created?
Automatically. Once you pick a format and seed the teams (or randomize them), Pulvi generates every matchup, round, and match day for the season.
How do standings work?
In pool play, standings update live as results are recorded: three points for a win, one for a draw. In knockout seasons, winners advance through the bracket until a champion is crowned.
Are league matches real bookable games?
Yes. A league match can be attached to a real game on Pulvi, so venue, time, and rosters live in one place and players get the same booking experience as any other game.
Which sports can I run a league for?
Any sport on Pulvi. All 35 of them, from basketball, soccer, and volleyball to pickleball, cricket, and ice hockey.
Can I follow a league without playing in it?
Yes. Anyone can follow a league to keep up with fixtures, results, standings, and the road to the championship.
